Do You Accept Insurance For My TeleMed Consultation & Office Visits?
If you have a High Deductible or Catastrophic plan or a strict In-Network HMO/EPO, you will be a Self-Pay Patient.
Do You Accept Insurance For My Surgical Procedure?
Yes! At ESSI, we work specifically with patients who have commercial insurance plans that include Out-of-Network (OON) Benefits.
If your insurance card lists “OON” coverage, you may qualify to have your surgery billed through your insurance plan.
This allows patients to receive care from Dr. Vidali and our Highly Specialized Surgical Team while still using their insurance benefits.
How It Works
- $250 Fee to Reserve your surgery date. For eligible patients with out-of-network benefits.
- Insurance Claim Submission. Our billing team will file the claim directly with your insurance company. Any insurance payments sent directly to you must be forwarded to our office to settle the claim.
If You Do Not Have Out-of-Network Benefits
If your insurance plan is an HMO/EPO or you do not have insurance, you will be considered self-pay.
In these cases:
- Dr. Vidali’s professional surgical fee is $11,750 for patients with in-network only or no insurance.
- If your surgery requires additional specialists, separate fees may apply for their services.
Even as a self-pay patient, you will still receive the same advanced, world-class care from Dr. Vidali and our ESSI surgical team.
Our fees remain among the most competitive in the country for this level of surgical expertise and specialized care.
Hospital Costs – What You Can Expect
Surgeries are performed at In-Network Hospitals (with most major insurance plans) by Dr. Vidali or one of our Highly Specialized Surgeons.
Under the Federal No Surprises Act, patients are protected from balance billing when their procedure is performed at an in-network hospital.
This means your hospital and physician claims are generally processed using your in-network benefits, and you are only responsible for your plan’s usual deductible, copay, or coinsurance, just as you would be for any in-network care.
Our team will make sure you understand how these protections apply to your surgery.
