Insurance & Fees
At ESSI, we work specifically with patients who have commercial insurance plans that include Out-of-Network (OON) benefits.
If your insurance card lists “OON” or “PPO” you may qualify to have your surgery billed through your insurance plan.
This structure allows you to receive care from our highly specialized surgical team while still using your insurance benefits for reimbursement.
If You Do Not Have Out-of-Network Benefits
If your plan is a strict In-Network HMO or EPO, or if you do not have insurance, you will be considered self-pay.
Even as a self-pay patient, you’ll still have access to the same advanced, world-class surgical care, with our expert ESSI surgical team, and our fees remain among the most competitive in the country for this level of expertise and specialization.

We want every patient to feel confident that they’re in the right place for their care. To help determine whether our practice is the best fit for your needs, we offer two convenient Consultation options:
1. TeleMed Consultation with one of our Medical Staff — at No Cost
This complimentary appointment allows you to briefly review your medical history and symptoms with one of our experienced surgeons. The goal is to assess whether an In- Person Examination or Surgical Consultation is recommended.
2. Comprehensive Consultation with Dr. Vidali
For patients who wish to meet directly with Dr. Vidali, a detailed Surgical Consultation can be scheduled via TeleMed or In-Person Consultation with Full Exam.
Our office will submit a claim to your insurance for the visit if you have Out-of-Network Benefits. If your plan offers In-Network Coverage only, you will be responsible for the consultation fee.
